- Truganini was the last full-blood Tasmanian Aborigine.
- She was part of the Mangana Tribe.
- Her memorial is at the Neck on Bruny Island.
- Her Fiance was killed by whalers.
- She was about 64 when she died the date of death isn't definite.
- She moved to Flinders Island for in 1835 because two white men promised her peace if she moved, this is where they put her in a missionary to turn her into a christian. Here she became very confused and died.
- As a tribe they made occasional visits to Port Davey which is in South West Tasmania.
- She finally died in Dandridge house which is in Maquarrie Street.
- Before she was Cremated she was buried in the Female Factory which is in South Hobart.
