According from one of the local newspapers at the time she married again. She married a man called King Billy but he died in march 1871. After that She became the the main aboriginal that the British were searching for in the Hobart area. Then three years later she was killed by the soldiers after being repeatedly raped by other soldiers when she was killed all she requested for was that her ashes were put in the D'entrecasteaux channel but when she died they buried her in the Female Factory in South Hobart. But then two years later she was recognized as the last full blood Tasmanian aboriginal then her skeleton was cremated and then scattered in the D'entrecasteaux channel where she requested. Only now does Truganini get the respect she deserves after several years. Truganini has been through so many emotional times with all her family dead.
